Baking up a storm

Congratulations to Abigail Bold (Year 7, Scudo) who won second place in the Gluten Free baking competition of the Pine Rivers Show.

Although the show did have a children’s competition, Abigail was so confident in her baking skills that she entered the adults competition.  Competing against some seasoned bakers, Abigail’s gluten free cake was a massive hit with the judges.  In fact, Abigail beat a number of other contestants who had won other cooking competition categories at the show.

Abigail’s cake was an orange, almond and pistachio gluten free cake.  If you’d like the exact recipe, please email the School and we can find a copy.
