Past Student Events

From 2022, all reunions will be held on the same day – Pink Day (or “Back to St Paul’s Day” as it was previously known). This is a significant day on the school calendar and seeks to celebrate not only current students but those who have come before. Pink Day is held each year on the first home game of Term 2, and has quite a carnival atmosphere, with all Firsts teams (netball and hockey for girls; rugby and tennis for boys) playing in special pink jerseys etc. The fund-raising focus for the day is Breast Cancer Research.

On Pink Day 2022 (date TBC), a special reunion lunch will be held at the School. This will be free to attend for paid members of the Past Students Supporter Group (including those who were members of the Alumni Association) and will have a cost for those who are not paid members. Of course, we hope you might also come early and support our current students playing in the TAS competition. Tours of the School and archives will also be arranged.

Should cohorts wish to gather as an individual year level, they will be welcome to do so later that evening which they can organise as a cohort at a location of their choosing.

The main rationale for this change in structure is to help reunions not just celebrate themselves, but to also build connection with the School of today. Additionally, some cohorts have struggled to attract more than 3-5 attendees to a reunion and have expressed a desire to have better opportunities to network with other past students.

Stay tuned for more details regarding next year’s Reunion Day in early 2022.
