Year 8 Japanese Day
This week, the Year 8 students shared their Japanese Day with our visiting students from Shukutoku High School in Japan. They painted rice bowls and boomerangs, played an assortment of traditional Australian and Japanese games and made a signature dish from each country. The highlight of the day for most was the opportunity to taste test a variety of foods – some delicious and some needing an “acquired taste”. The immersive experience provided a great learning opportunity, as well as team building, for all.
