JSSG says ‘thank you!’
Thank you to all the JSSG Committee Members, CPL’s and amazing parents/families, teachers, School staff and students who have volunteers their time and/or supported the JSSG financially in 2017. Thanks to your fantastic efforts the JSSG will have achieved the following by the end of 2017:
- Hosted and funded the Junior School Disco
- Manned the BBQ and contributed $700 towards the Under 8’s Spectacular Day
- Held five uniform swaps, two stalls (Mother’s and Father’s Day), two canteens, a tea towel fundraiser and a number of raffles
- Hosted and funded an Orientation morning tea for new families to the Junior School
- Implemented a School Banking program
- Provided a Pizza Party for four Junior School classes
- Introduced easily identifiable JSSG Volunteer uniforms
- Provided our fantastic teachers with a free beverage and morning tea on World Teachers’ Day
- Contributed funds totally $3100 towards: Colour Run (Pink Day/Breast Cancer Fundraiser), Year 6 Graduation and Breakfast, Author in Residence, 2017 Junior School Celebration of Achievement Awards and Morphing Week
- Provided a total of $1500 in grants towards the Year 3 Design Symposium, Ozbots Robots for the Coding Club and the new Prep Village water trough.
