Canadian experience

Posted on February 12, 2017

Late last year, Zoe Dyer (Year 12), completed a term studying abroad in Canada.

Situated in a small town north of Toronto, Zoe lived with a home-stay family, attended the local school and experienced the change of seasons from Autumn to Winter – a true Canadian experience.

“I was pushed way out of my comfort zone, but it helped me to grow in confidence”, says Zoe. “I also have a greater appreciation for home and all my parents do for me – I truly am grateful, both for them and the opportunities I have here in Australia.”

A creative at heart, Zoe now hopes to pursue a Creative Design degree at university, with her mind open to international study possibilities.

She documented her travels through photography and compiled a magnificent video of highlights. You can watch it below!
