Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Action Plan

Acknowledgement of Country

St Paul’s School would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our School stands, the Turrbul People.

We would like to pay respect to Elders past and present and to emerging community leaders.

St Paul’s School is committed to reconciliation with the Aboriginal people of this Land, and to working with the First Peoples of Australia to continue to keep Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures going for future generations.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

In 2025, St Paul’s School launched our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This formal statement recognises our commitment to fostering relationships, respect and opportunities for reconciliation with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the Turrbal Peoples, the Traditional Owners of the land on which our school stands.
By making this commitment, we aim to create an inclusive place of learning where we grow together as a community, acknowledging that for thousands of years, this land has been a place of teaching and learning where knowledge has been passed down. We seek to reconcile for past actions, learn about the rich cultures and knowledges of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and walk forward with respect, curiosity, and a shared commitment to truth and reconciliation.
