At St Paul’s School, our Scholarship Program reflects a deep belief in the potential of every young person and the transformative impact of a complete learning journey. As a Pre‑Prep to Year 12 school on one campus, we offer students a connected pathway where their talents are recognised early, nurtured intentionally, and supported through every stage of their development.
Scholarships at St Paul’s School are awarded with purpose. They recognise students who demonstrate excellence in Academics, Music, the Performing Arts, or Sport, and who will contribute to the strength, spirit, and character of our community. Whether joining us from another school or already part of St Paul’s School, scholarship recipients are young people who show commitment, curiosity, and the capacity to grow.
More than financial assistance, our scholarships create meaningful access, enabling families to embrace opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach and inviting exceptional students to become part of something larger than themselves. Scholarship Program
Is open to Australian residents only and offers four distinct categories: Academic, Music, Performing Arts and Sport. Entry into the Academic Scholarship requires students to sit an examination, while applications for Music, Performing Arts and Sport involve the submission of detailed supporting materials and evidence of excellence in the chosen field.
Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships at St Paul’s School are open to both current students and those wishing to join our community, and are offered to applicants entering Year 7 to Year 11 who demonstrate exceptional academic capability, curiosity, and commitment to learning. Successful candidates receive a remission of tuition fees for the duration of their Senior schooling (Years 7–12), with the level of remission determined by the applicant pool and the scholarships available each year. Scholarships continue through to Year 12 provided students meet required performance standards, which are reviewed annually at the discretion of the Principal.
All applicants are required to sit an academic test as the first stage of the selection process. Following testing, shortlisted students who are not currently enrolled at St Paul’s School will be invited to attend an interview, where they must demonstrate outstanding academic endeavour, strong conduct, and positive citizenship. Following the testing results and interviews (if applicable), successful applicants will receive a scholarship offer from the Principal.

Music Scholarship
Music Scholarships are open to current and future students entering Year 7 to Year 12 who demonstrate exceptional musical ability, strong performance experience, and a genuine passion for their craft. Applicants should show clear commitment to their musical development, supported by dedication to their learning.
Music Scholars become part of a community that values excellence, character and contribution. They are expected to remain actively engaged in the School’s Music Program, represent St Paul’s School with professionalism, and uphold the values of Growth, Belonging, Community and Faith. Scholars maintain a solid academic record, participate fully in school life, and contribute positively to the wider School community.
Recipients receive a percentage remission of tuition fees for their Senior schooling, with continuation dependent on meeting the standards expected of them both in their musical studies and in the classroom. Scholarships are reviewed annually at the discretion of the Principal.
Students who receive a Music Scholarship are supported to balance the demands of rehearsals, performances and ongoing musical development with their academic program, ensuring they thrive as learners, musicians and valued members of the St Paul’s School community.

Performing Arts Scholars become part of a creative community that values excellence, character and contribution. They are expected to engage fully in the School’s Performing Arts endeavours, represent St Paul’s School with professionalism, and uphold the values of Growth, Belonging, Community and Faith. Scholars maintain a solid academic record, participate actively in school life, and contribute positively to the wider School community.

Students who receive a Performing Arts Scholarship are supported to balance rehearsals, performances and ongoing artistic development with their academic program, ensuring they thrive as learners, performers and valued members of the St Paul’s School community.
Scholarship Requirements
Students awarded a Performing Arts Scholarship are required to participate in St Paul’s Chorus and Singers, contribute to the School Dance Troupe, and take part in drama and musical productions as required. School Dance commitments take priority over external dance schools at the discretion of the Dance Coordinator. Scholars also undertake weekly singing lessons during term time with a private tutor, either at school or with an external tutor approved by the Head of Extracurricular Music.
