Term 3, Week 7 Sports Update

Posted on August 24, 2017

With only three weeks of sport remaining in 2017 TAS season, it is a timely reminder to recognise the importance that perseverance and determination play in sport. A number of teams are out of the running for premierships this term, however the last three weeks of competition are no less significant for these teams. The challenge to finish the season as well as possible and to continue to strive for your personal best are goals that each and every student can work towards as the season comes to an end.

There will be yet another trial format for Finals this term, with three Schools hosting two Year levels for the four sports. The three Schools hosting finals were given the opportunity to host as they were only allocated three homes games in the draw this Term.

CHAC will host 1sts and 2nds for Basketball, Volleyball, Touch Football and Football

St John’s will host Year 10 and 9 Basketball, Volleyball, Touch Football and Football

WMAC will host Year 8 and 7 Basketball, Volleyball, Touch Football and Football

  • Regardless of final placings all Year level teams will be playing at the same venue.
  • Confirmation of times will be provided asap

Our last round of TAS home sport, September 2, marks are annual Blue Day fundraiser. It not only an opportunity to come together as whole sporting community for one last time for 2017, but an opportunity to support a very worthy cause in Prostrate Cancer research. It has been another successful year for St Paul’s Sport and I encourage everyone to come and support our teams in the final TAS home fixture for 2017.
