We are looking for experienced software developers to create a Web-based Digital Platform for Realms of Thinking www.realmsofthinking.com  St Paul’s School is pioneering the platform to transform the professional practice of educators and grow the capacity of every student to think creatively.

The ideal candidates must have knowledge and experience in building and maintaining production applications professionally, preferably using microservices architecture, such as using Amazon AWS.

We are looking for a Lead Developer, UI Developer, and a Database Developer with hands-on skills in programming languages such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, as well as Python-driven web frameworks like Django with MySQL or PostgreSQL database, and strong understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility, general web functions, and standards.

We are seeking three experienced and dynamic Developers:

  • UI Developer
  • Database Developer
  • Lead Developer

All three positions are fixed term: commencing on Monday 5 September 2022 and concluding on Friday 15 December 2023, with potential for the positions to be extended into 2024 and beyond.

All three positions are full time.

The employer will initially be St Paul’s School before being transferred to a new company, Realms of Thinking. Flexible work arrangements will be considered, but as employees may have to spend some time on the School campus, they will be expected to adhere to the School’s employment policies.

Important conditions of employment:

  • Possession of a current Blue Card** (Working with Children Check by Blue Card Services);
  • Must agree to undergo a Criminal History/Police Check conducted by the School;
  • Must agree to be checked against the Anglican Church’s National Professional Standards Register;
  • Must be an Australian resident and eligible to work in Australia.

** If you do not currently possess a Blue Card, the School can assist successful candidates to make application to secure a Blue Card prior to commencing employment.
