Bendigo Bank
Bendigo Community Bank Branches - Providing communities with a sustainable future
There is an overarching philosophy behind much of the work carried out by Bendigo Bank in both its day-to-day banking activities and in the work it does with Australian communities on activities unrelated to banking.
Community Bank® branches provide communities, like St Paul’s School, with more than just quality banking services – they deliver employment opportunities for local people, keep local capital in the community, are a local investment option for shareholders and provide a source of revenue for important community projects determined by the local community. When a St Paul’s family member takes out a loan with the Brendale or Samford Community Bank branch, on approval, Bendigo Bank will make a donation to our School. Just click here to find out how.
Holt Fitness
Holt Fitness Personalised Gym is located at the bottom of the PE centre. Providing strength and conditioning, personal training, group fitness sessions and gym memberships to the St Paul's community and the public, the operators, Richard and Cristian, both have a certificate 3 and 4 in fitness as well as First Aid certificates. Additionally, Cristian is a Level 1 strength and conditioning coach and Richard has a Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in education. Both have an extensive history playing sports and Richard (2005 bronze medal winner for shotput at the Telstra Australian Athletics Championships) has coached athletics at the University of Queensland and cricket and athletics at Brisbane Grammar School.
Richard and Cristian work closely with the first teams of St Paul's School including the volleyball, basketball, rugby and cricket teams. The goal of these sessions is to cultivate team spirit, prepare students physically for their sport and motivate students to perform to their full potential. The introduction of these sessions in 2010 has led to an increase in student interest in physical fitness. It has also led to students taking their sport more seriously and wanting to be more competitive.
Holt Fitness provides well over 40 hours of personal training each week and has a solid and ever growing membership. Its success lies in the fact that it has some major points of difference to the average gym. Through an online booking system the gym limits the amount of people who can train in an hour block allowing personalised attention to be given to each individual while they are working out, providing extensive motivation and advice. Two membership payment options are available, either through an upfront fee with unlimited entry, or pay per session at very reasonable prices.
So why not organise a group of friends for a fitness session, take the challenge of a personal training session or join as a member and get a free personalised programme. Get Holt, Get Healthy!!
